Description
Detect AC voltage presence with a hot-stick-mounted detector offering selectable ranges and audible and visual indications.
The Hastings 7701 senses an electric field and provides settings for common overhead line voltages and designated test points. Its self-test, low-battery indication and mounting arrangement support field use with the appropriate hot stick. Confirm the URD test-point arrangement and supplied accessories with ECP; it is not a DC detector or a method for sensing through a conductive cable shield.
