Description
The AEMC 275HVD detects the electric field around energized AC conductors and provides visible and audible indication.
Eight selectable ranges cover applications from 240 V through 275 kV. A self-test position checks the detector circuitry and indicators. Its universal spline supports attachment to a suitable hot stick. Select the detector and insulating equipment for the system and follow the manufacturer instructions. The detector is an indication device, not a numerical voltmeter.
