Description
The Hoyt HPC-11K is a two-pole phase comparator for checking phase relationships on 11 kV, 50/60 Hz systems.
A color-coded analog scale shows the phase relationship between energized conductors. The instrument draws operating power from the circuit under test and uses fiberglass front sections with insulated hand guards. It is intended for trained high-voltage personnel and indoor or dry-weather outdoor applications. Follow the manufacturer’s proving procedure and operating limits; this comparator is not a substitute for a dedicated absence-of-voltage detector.
